Photographers to Auction Prints for Nashville Flood Victims

As a Tennessee native, the people who suffered from the floods in Nashville are close to my heart and concern.  Fortunately, the Society of Nashville Artistic Photographers (SNAP) has organized an auction of highly collectable photographs to benefit victims of the recent catastrophic flood. The event, named Focus on Recovery, will take place on June 4, 2010 from 6 p.m. –10 p.m., at 211 East 17th St. (at Fatherland), in East Nashville, once the site of the Plowhaus Gallery. There will be a preview party on June 3, 2010 from 7-9 pm. All proceeds will go to Rebuilding Together, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization with over 200 affiliates of local architects and contractors who rebuild homes for the disabled, the aging and homeowners affected by natural disasters.
